The Papua New Guinea National Men’s Cricket Team, the Barramundis suffered their first loss on their tour in Adelaide.
The Barras were beaten on Saturday by Adelaide University Cricket Club by 34 runs in a fifty over match. The Barras chased 298 set by their rivals. The partnership between Jason Kila and Tony Ura set off to 80 runs after 11 overs until Ura was out for 43 runs. Kila top scored for the Barramundis with 80 runs, however they fell short of the target. The Barramundis are currently in preparation for their next match this Wednesday. Skipper Chris Amini and fast bowler Norman Vanua are nursing injuries and will return to action this week. Comments are closed.
